About THE YACHT COLLECTIVE
Established in 2019 by the team behind 36° Brokers, The Yacht Collective was launched with a singular mission – to offer a luxury yacht experience without breaking the bank. Our journey started when clients repeatedly came to us wanting to sell, citing a lack of time to use their boat and a hard time justifying the cost. As marine professionals and boat owners ourselves, we understood these challenges firsthand. Consequently, The Yacht Collective was born, offering yacht syndication in a premium sail and power vessel. Since then, we’ve been launching innovative new models, proving time and again that yacht syndication is a winning model!

Nicholas has been a long-time social yachty with a deep-rooted passion for life on the water. Born and raised on Auckland’s North Shore, he brings a personal and approachable style to his dual role at 36 Degrees. As Operations Manager for The Yacht Collective, Nicholas ensures syndicate members enjoy a seamless “walk-on, walk-off” experience, backed by meticulous care and smooth logistics.
Alongside this, Nicholas leads new boat sales for the prestigious Beneteau brands (Beneteau, Lagoon and Excess), helping clients find the perfect yacht or catamaran to match their cruising aspirations. His extensive background in sales and management, combined with his love for boating, makes him a trusted guide for anyone stepping into yacht ownership.
When he’s not working, Nicholas spends considerable time on the water – boating, paddleboarding, skiing, and fishing. He even taught water skiing overseas, a testament to his lifelong connection to the marine lifestyle. His enthusiasm for the sea and commitment to helping others discover their dream boats make him an invaluable part of the 36 Degrees team.

Having a share of Exit Point, managed by the Yacht Collective team, is absolutely fantastic. The vessel is perfectly equipped for sailing the greater Hauraki Gulf.
